AVO Classic is the creation of Hendrik Kelner and Avo Uvezian, who worked with Davidoff to create a mix of premium tobaccos that has been aged for at least 5 to 7 years.

Back in 1995 Davidoff purchased the rights to AVO, since then the AVO brand expanded from selling just 5,000 cigars a year to roughly 3 million, making AVO one of the most popular brands in the world.
