A Nicaraguan Corojo ’99 wrapper from Jalapa covers two Criollo ’98 binder leaves from Estelí, with fillers grown in Jalapa and Condega. Expect roasted nuts, cedar, black pepper, coffee, earth, and a natural sweetness that starts showing up once the cigar settles down.

The Aganorsa Leaf Arsenio Robusto (5.25″ x 54) comes from the kind of cigar history you cannot really manufacture.
Arsenio Ramos spent most of his life around tobacco.
Fields. Barns. Blending tables.
And when it came time to smoke something for himself, he had his own preferences. This cigar was built around that style.
The wrapper is Corojo ’99 grown in Jalapa. Underneath are two Criollo ’98 binders from Estelí, followed by Nicaraguan fillers from Jalapa and Condega.
Three growing regions working together.
Very Aganorsa.
The first part of the smoke brings cedar and black pepper. Then roasted nuts start coming through. Coffee. Earth. Toasted tobacco.
A little sweetness slips in later.
Not much.
Just enough to soften the spice and make you slow down for another puff.
The 5.25″ x 54 format gives the cigar a concentrated feel. More tobacco than a traditional Robusto, but nowhere near oversized. The flavors stay close together. Nothing gets lost.
That is probably the best way to describe Arsenio.
No gimmick.
No crazy shape.
No attempt to reinvent what Nicaraguan tobacco should taste like.
Just a blend tied to one of the men who helped teach Aganorsa how to make it taste this way in the first place.
