Tasting Notes – Arturo Fuente Queen B Sun Grown
First Third:
Right off the bat, there’s that classic Fuente toast — warm, bready, a little nutty. The sun grown wrapper adds some kick: a hit of black pepper on retrohale, just enough to wake up the palate. Underneath that, there’s cedar, roasted almonds, and a whisper of sweetness. Like a burnt caramel edge, but subtle. Draw is near-perfect. Smoke output? Creamy and thick.
Second Third:
Pepper settles down. In comes some baking spice — cinnamon, clove, maybe even a bit of cocoa powder. It’s layered, not loud. Cedar ramps up, but the sweetness holds. Burn line stays sharp. Still medium-bodied, leaning toward full, but never overpowering. Flavors start to round out and get deeper.
