The Arturo Fuente Queen B was designed to be a balance of power and grace, and it was named after the King B, which came out a few years earlier.
The Ecuadorian Sun Grown Rosado wrapper (one of Fuente’s favorites for body and complexity) is used in the blend, along with Dominican long-fillers from the family’s private reserves. Like most cigars in the Chateau Fuente line, this one is aged, wrapped in cedar, and has that signature ribbon at the foot, which is a quiet sign of pride.
The Queen B stands out because of its size and shape. It’s a tapered 5.5″ × 52 belicoso that lets you draw more deeply and lets the flavor develop more slowly as it burns. Some people say it was first only available at certain high-end Fuente displays or retailers, but it quickly became popular with people who wanted something a little more full-bodied than the regular Chateau lines but not quite as strong as Opus X.
