“Ultra Rare”
The Arturo Fuente Rare Pink Sophisticated Hooker has a nautical backstory. The name came from a fishing boat remembered by Carlito Fuente. It later became the name of this format in the Rare Pink collection.
At 7.25″ × 53, it is the longest size in Fuente’s currently listed Rare Pink range. A long figurado. A shaped body with tapered ends. The standard factory box contains 20 cigars.
An Ecuadorian wrapper surrounds a Dominican binder and filler from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. Production takes place at Tabacalera A. Fuente y Cia., with the finished cigars carrying the series’ pink-and-gold presentation.
The real reason why ? These were created with Carlito’s daughter, Liana Fuente, to support breast cancer research, inspired by family losses to the disease.
Every box sold donates $13 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, and that bold pink packaging screams the mission. Released in 2020, they’re super limited, so buy now if they’re in stock.
They come out once a year and are extremely collectable. Probably one of the most hunted down cigars on the planet.

Arturo Fuente Rare Pink Sophisticated Hooker Description
Before it appeared on a cigar band, Sophisticated Hooker was the name of a fishing boat. Liana Fuente told Cigar Coop that Carlito remembered the boat from a charity event in Key West. That memory eventually supplied the name for this Rare Pink format.
The dimensions are straightforward: 7.25 inches long, with a 53 ring gauge. It is the longest format on Fuente’s current Rare Pink specification page, using the shaped construction found throughout the collection.
Its outer wrapper comes from Ecuador. A Dominican binder holds filler tobacco from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua, with manufacture taking place at Tabacalera A. Fuente y Cia. The factory presentation contains 20 cigars in the series’ pink packaging.
Published Flavor Profile
Cigar Aficionado’s assessment described cedar and herbal impressions, followed by nuts, graham cracker, pepper, and caramel. It classified the cigar as medium-full in strength.
Other reviewers have assessed the strength differently. These descriptions are attributed tasting observations, so they should remain separate from claims about dimensions, origin, or box quantity.
