“Ultra Rare”
The Arturo Fuente Rare Pink Work of Art measures 4.2″ × 46/60. Two ring-gauge numbers. One shaped cigar. Its body changes diameter, widening toward the foot before narrowing again at the end.
Made at Tabacalera A. Fuente y Cia. in the Dominican Republic, it uses an Ecuadorian wrapper. Now for the good stuff, the fillers are aged with a Dominican binders along with Dominican and Nicaraguan aged tobaccos. It’s just something no other cigar maker can perfect except for Carlito. Oh they try alright, but Fuente is Fuente for a reason.
The box contains 25 cigars. The Work of Art is also a name used in Fuente’s Hemingway collection. Here, it identifies the Rare Pink version, with its separate blend, pink packaging, and gold-accented bands.
The real reason why ? These were created with Carlito’s daughter, Liana Fuente, to support breast cancer research, inspired by family losses to the disease.
Every box sold donates $13 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, and that bold pink packaging screams the mission. Released in 2020, they’re super limited to once a year, so buy now if they’re in stock.

Why Two Ring-Gauge Numbers?
The Arturo Fuente Rare Pink Work of Art has a changing outline. A tapered head, a fuller section toward the foot, then another narrowing at the end. Fuente lists that shape at 4⅞ inches long with a 46/60 ring gauge.
The numbers describe the construction. This is a shaped cigar, so one diameter does not tell the whole story. A listing that uses 60 alone is giving the maximum ring gauge.
The Rare Pink Blend
Work of Art is a familiar name within the Arturo Fuente catalog because it also appears in the Hemingway series. Here, it belongs to Rare Pink and uses a separate blend.
Production takes place in the Dominican Republic at Tabacalera A. Fuente y Cia. Published specifications identify an Ecuadorian wrapper, a Dominican binder, and filler tobaccos from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. The factory box contains 25 cigars.
Published Flavor Profile
Cigar Aficionado’s April 2021 review reported caramel, peanut, macadamia, citrus, and dried-date notes, followed by a tobacco finish. The publication classified the cigar as medium–full.
Those are observations from that particular review. Flavor and perceived strength are subjective, and other reviewers may describe the same cigar differently.
