The Cohiba Puro Dominicana Churchill is not a light, creamy smoke. This one has some weight to it.
Made entirely with Dominican tobacco, the blend opens with dry cedar, earth, and a noticeable hit of pepper. Give it a few minutes. The edges begin to soften, and darker flavors start moving in. Leather. Roasted nuts. Coffee. A little natural sweetness buried underneath.
The Churchill size changes the experience too. At 7″ x 49, it burns slowly, but the slimmer ring gauge keeps the flavors sharp and focused. You notice more of the wood and spice early on. Through the middle, the smoke becomes richer, with more coffee and leather. The final stretch turns darker and a little stronger.
