Java Red Corona
The Java Red Corona is not shy about what it is. Coffee. Chocolate. Cherry. All three show up early, and they stay noticeable through most of the cigar.
The first few draws lean toward roasted espresso and dark cocoa. Then the cherry starts to come through. Sweet, but with a slightly tart edge that keeps the cigar from feeling flat or syrupy. Underneath it all is a mild earthy tobacco note, just enough to give the smoke some backbone.
The Maduro wrapper adds more depth and a darker finish. Inside are Nicaraguan tobaccos, infused to bring out the coffee, cocoa, and fruit profile that made the Java line so popular.
At 5″ x 42, the Corona keeps everything concentrated. The smoke is a little quicker than the larger Java sizes, and the slimmer ring gauge puts more attention on the wrapper and infusion. Good flavor right away. No long warm-up.
