My Father Le Bijou 1922 Torpedo (6.1″ x 52) Single

Original price was: $18.00.Current price is: $14.99.

Awarded Cigar of the Year in 2015

The My Father Le Bijou 1922 Torpedo (6⅛” x 52) is dark, powerful, and packed with rich Nicaraguan flavor. Espresso and earth hit early. Then dark chocolate, leather, black pepper, and a little raisin-like sweetness.

The blend is Nicaraguan from the wrapper all the way through the binder and filler. A dark Cuban-seed Oscuro wrapper gives it that oily appearance and heavier flavor. The Torpedo is also the only box-pressed size in the Le Bijou 1922 line, which makes it feel a little different in the hand and keeps the smoke focused.

Le Bijou means “the jewel” in French. The 1922 honors the birth year of José Garcia, Don Pepin Garcia’s father. A family tribute, but also one of the best-known cigars My Father has produced. The Torpedo earned 97 points and was selected as Cigar Aficionado’s No. 1 Cigar of 2015.
