This cigar has a 6 year old well aged maduro wrapper. For extra measure Nick Perdomo puts the same wrapper in bourbon barrels and ages them for another 14 months. The long-fillers have been aged for 5 years and come from Condega, Jalapa, and Esteli in Nicaragua where the soil is top notch for growing peppery tobacco.
This cigar is a medium to full body in strength. The taste profile on the BBA Maduro has hints of cocoa and coffee and bourbon barrel flavors that marry perfectly for an outstanding finish. A no brainer for cigar smokers who prefer medium to full bodied Nicaraguan cigars.
