The Sobremesa Brulee Blue Lonsdale, crafted by Steve Saka of Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust, is part of the prestigious Sobremesa line, which draws inspiration from the Spanish tradition of “sobremesa”—a time of relaxation and conversation after a meal. The Brulee Blue is an elevated version of the Brulee, known for its creamy and sweet profile, designed to recapture the smooth, mild cigar experience of old-school Connecticut Shade smokes.

Saka created the Brulee Blue with the intent to offer a more refined and exclusive smoking experience similar to a 1980’s Cuban Davidoff. The Lonsdale size was chosen to intensify the cigar’s balance of sweet, creamy flavors, like caramel and vanilla, with a hint of toasted nuts, while also offering a longer, more contemplative smoke. The cigar is beloved by those who appreciate a smooth, elegant smoke that recalls the golden age of Connecticut-wrapped cigars.
