In recent years, the AVO Heritage series of cigars has received multiple high ratings. A 90-point rating was earned by the Heritage on two separate occasions in 2010 and 2011, an 86-point rating was earned in 2012, and an 88-point rating was earned in 2014.
The Heritage line is one of AVO’s most distinctive cigars to date, and for good reason. AVO launched the Heritage Series as a way to recognize and commemorate the farmers, blenders, and rollers who have helped to make AVO a legendary brand in the cigar business for so long. The Heritage Series cigars are wrapped in an Ecuadorian sun-grown wrapper and filled with a strong blend of superbly matured Cuban-seed Dominican Ligero, Seco, and Peruvian long-fillers. The flavors of toast and cocoa are prominent, with a hint of sweet cedar and delicate spices on the finish.
