A Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper sits over a Mexican San Andrés binder and Dominican-forward filler tobaccos, creating a rich profile built around cocoa, earth, darker tobacco and warm spice.
The signature sweetened cap adds a familiar Deadwood sweetness without completely taking over the cigar. The larger Gordo size slows things down a little. More smoke. More room for the darker flavors to develop.

Deadwood Dominicana Buenas Noches Gordo (6″ x 60) Box of 10 is not the quiet member of the family.
It is big. Dark. And unmistakably Deadwood.
Drew Estate wraps this 60-ring Gordo in a Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro leaf, then uses a Mexican San Andrés binder underneath. Inside is a Dominican-forward mix of filler tobacco with Nicaraguan tobacco helping build additional depth.
That combination gives Buenas Noches a darker foundation than the original Dominicana.
Cocoa shows up early. Earth isn’t far behind. There is also roasted tobacco, warm spice and a darker coffee-like character that works its way through the profile as the cigar settles down.
Then there is the sweetness. Deadwood fans know it immediately.
The cap carries that familiar sweetened character, but Buenas Noches gives it more contrast than some of the lighter Deadwood blends. The sweetness sits against Broadleaf richness, earth and cocoa instead of floating above the entire cigar.
That makes a difference. The Gordo format changes things too.
At 6″ x 60, there is plenty of filler tobacco in the equation, so the cigar tends to feel broader and more relaxed than a smaller vitola. The smoke output is substantial. The profile gets room to stretch out. Pepper and spice don’t have to fight quite as hard for attention.
One draw may lean toward cocoa and earth. The next can move toward darker coffee, toasted tobacco and sweetness. It is not a delicate cigar. But it also isn’t just strength for the sake of strength.
