The cigar begins with a smooth Connecticut Shade Natural wrapper over a Dominican binder and a blend of five different filler tobaccos selected from the Caribbean and Central America. The tobacco is aged for five years, and every cigar is handmade at the renowned Tabacalera A. Fuente factory in the Dominican Republic.
The first few draws are soft and creamy.
Cedar, toasted tobacco and roasted nuts come through early, followed by touches of light pepper and natural sweetness. As the cigar warms up, the profile becomes a little richer. Still smooth. Still balanced. Nothing gets harsh or starts fighting for attention.
