The Diamond Crown Julius Caeser Churchill (7.25″ x 52) Box of 20 is a long, elegant smoke with considerably more depth than you might expect from Diamond Crown.
An Ecuadorian Havana-seed wrapper surrounds a Dominican binder and a carefully selected mixture of Caribbean and Central American filler tobaccos aged for five years. Every cigar is handmade in small batches at Tabacalera A. Fuente in the Dominican Republic.
The profile starts rich. Roasted coffee, cedar and warm spice, followed by a subtle sweetness that smooths everything out. The longer Churchill format gives the blend time to stretch out, change gears and become a little deeper as it burns.

J.C. Newman introduced Julius Caeser in 2010 to celebrate what would have been company founder Julius Caeser Newman’s 135th birthday, along with the company’s 115th anniversary. Even the unusual spelling of “Caeser” has history behind it—it comes from the name given to Julius Newman when he arrived in America.
The cigar itself starts with a flavorful Ecuadorian Havana-seed wrapper. Underneath sits a Dominican binder and a combination of select Caribbean and Central American filler tobaccos that have been aged for five years. Each cigar is then handmade in small batches at the legendary Tabacalera A. Fuente factory in the Dominican Republic.
Light the Churchill and you’ll find plenty of richness right away.
Coffee and dark wood lead things off. A little spice comes behind them. Then the cigar begins to settle down, bringing in a soft sweetness and a deeper roasted character.
Give it time.
That’s where this size really shines.
The long 7.25-inch format allows the blend to develop gradually instead of throwing everything at you in the first few minutes. Coffee gets richer. The wood becomes a little sweeter. Spice moves in and out.
