The Diamond Crown Julius Caeser Troublemaker (5.75″ x 52) Box of 20 earned its name the hard way.
This unusual perfecto was inspired by a vintage cigar shape and proved so difficult to produce that the rollers at Tabacalera A. Fuente gave it a nickname of their own. Troublemaker eventually stuck.
An Ecuadorian Havana wrapper covers a Dominican binder and a blend of Caribbean and Central American filler tobaccos aged for five years. Rich stuff. Expect coffee, cedar, toasted nuts, earth and warm spice, with a little natural sweetness showing up as the cigar settles down.
The tapered shape changes things as you smoke it. Concentrated at first. Broader through the middle. Then tighter again toward the finish.
Different shape. Serious tobacco.
And definitely not another ordinary Robusto sized cigar.

Diamond Crown Julius Caeser Troublemaker Description
The Diamond Crown Julius Caeser Troublemaker wasn’t designed on a computer.
It started with an old cigar poster hanging above the desk of longtime J.C. Newman and Arturo Fuente executive Rich Dolak. Drew Newman liked the unusual shape enough to ask a simple question.
Why can’t we make that?
Turns out, making it wasn’t so simple.
A wooden dowel had to be carved by hand to recreate the shape. Custom molds followed. Then came years of figuring out how to roll the thing properly. The cigar was such a headache to produce that the factory workers came up with a less-than-polite nickname for it.
We’ll stick with Troublemaker.
Measuring 5.75″ x 52, this soft perfecto uses the same rich Julius Caeser blend built around an Ecuadorian Havana wrapper, Dominican binder and select Caribbean and Central American filler tobaccos aged for five years. Each cigar is handmade at Tabacalera A. Fuente in the Dominican Republic.
Light it and the tapered foot keeps the opening fairly concentrated.
Cedar and warm spice show up first. Then the cigar begins to widen.
More smoke. More flavor.
Roasted coffee starts working its way in, joined by toasted nuts, earth and darker wood. There’s also a subtle sweetness underneath that helps smooth out the richer tobacco.
The shape makes the whole thing interesting.
As the burn line moves through the wider center, the smoke becomes broader and creamier. Then it gradually tightens back up again. Same blend. Different proportions along the way.
You notice it.
The Diamond Crown Julius Caeser Troublemaker Box of 20 is a great choice for Julius Caeser smokers who want something outside the usual Toro, Robusto or Churchill routine.
Five-year-aged tobacco. Fuente craftsmanship.
And a shape difficult enough to earn its own name.
