Perdomo Legacy Maduro Epicure
The Perdomo Legacy Maduro Epicure is a rich Nicaraguan Maduro, but it does not hit you all at once. It starts out earthy. A little pepper, some toasted wood, then the darker flavors begin to show up.
Espresso. Cocoa. Roasted nuts. There is also a mild sweetness in the background that keeps the cigar from becoming too dry or heavy.
The dark Nicaraguan Maduro wrapper has been aged for years and then finished with additional bourbon-barrel aging. You can taste that extra time in the tobacco. The smoke feels smoother, the flavors are deeper, and the finish hangs around without turning bitter.
At 6″ x 54, the Epicure is a comfortable size. Thick enough to burn cool and slowly, but not so large that the blend loses its character. The draw is usually open, the smoke output is heavy, and the construction is exactly what most Perdomo smokers expect.
