Liga Privada Unico Serie UF-13

The Liga Privada Único Serie UF-13 does not waste much time getting started. At 5.25″ x 52, it feels compact in the hand, but the flavor is anything but small. Dark tobacco. Heavy smoke. A blend with a little menace around the edges.

The first draws bring black pepper and roasted espresso. Fairly direct. Then the cigar begins to widen out, showing dark cocoa, leather, charred wood, and a deep earthy sweetness underneath. Rich flavors, but they do not all arrive at once. That would be too easy.

A Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper covers a Brazilian Mata Fina binder and a mix of Honduran and Nicaraguan filler tobaccos. The wrapper looks rugged and oily, while the signature fantail cap gives the UF-13 an unmistakable appearance. You usually know what it is before reading the band.

Smoke production is enormous. Typical Liga Privada behavior. The strength sits firmly in full-bodied territory, though the blend remains controlled when smoked slowly. Rush it and the pepper gets louder. Give it time and the sweeter notes have a chance to come forward.
