First off let me say I love the mad pig. One of my favorite cigars and another cigar sold on here. I’ve been waiting for this cigar to come back and stock. It finally did and I immediately purchased a bundle of these as well as the mad pigs. I think this one even edges out the mad pig which is truly excellent. Wonderful draw, copious smoke and absolutely delicious. Honestly I’m debating about ordering a bunch more of these before they go out of stock it’s so good.
And let me say I smoke a lot of cigars. Rocky Patel’s, gurkas, tabernacle , AJ Fernandez the list goes on and on and I would put this up against the best of them.
A cigar of this quality in a lounge you’re easily going to pay $15 or $20 a piece for.
Truly an excellent cigar and an incredible value.

The coffee flavor stayed put while little bursts of pepper moved around it. In hand, the cigar felt firm rather than overfilled.
Peter O. (verified owner) –
I didn’t find the chocolate note until I stopped looking for sweetness. It was closer to cacao nibs, sitting behind a steady earthy flavor.
Scott T. (verified owner) –
A gentle puff brought out more flavor than a hard pull. The difference was especially noticeable once the coffee notes started to build.
Nicole S. (verified owner) –
Pepper introduced itself early but didn’t stay abrasive. As it faded, the flavor rounded out, and the size remained comfortable for my normal routine.
Vanessa F. (verified owner) –
It was the aroma drifting from the resting cigar that stood out most: warm wood and roast. The taste itself had a quieter nutty finish.
Robert L. (verified owner) –
I noticed the finish more than the initial taste: slightly nutty, a touch dry, and not nearly as sweet as the wrapper suggested.
Dan X. (verified owner) –
The progression felt gradual enough that I only noticed it when I compared my notes. Cocoa at the start had become walnut and wood by the end.
Patrick K. (verified owner) –
The final portion was a bit too dry for my preference. I still liked the Toro’s earlier mix of roasted grain and dark cocoa.
Eric E. (verified owner) –
Roasted nuts made a late appearance. There was ample smoke with an easy pull, and nothing about the experience left me wishing I’d chosen a larger format.
Sarah T. (verified owner) –
After a peppery introduction, coffee and earth became the main story. The Toro’s shape felt right for an evening without a timetable.
Frank N. (verified owner) –
The wrapper stayed intact around my cut, and the draw had just enough resistance. Most of what I tasted reminded me of unsweetened baking chocolate.
John C. (verified owner) –
I found a pleasant distinction between the woody aroma and the more roasted taste. They weren’t identical, which made it worth paying attention.
Sarah N. (verified owner) –
Mine started with a tighter draw than I prefer. It loosened somewhat, and the dry chocolate flavor was enjoyable, though the opening needed patience.
Dan H. (verified owner) –
The first third ran a little unevenly on mine. Once corrected, the Toro settled into a pleasant combination of cocoa and dry wood.
Chris Q. (verified owner) –
I was looking for darker flavors and found them here, not merely a darker leaf on the outside. This size would remain my choice over something bigger.
Melissa N. (verified owner) –
Cocoa led the opening; darker wood came later. I found the Toro’s proportions familiar, and spacing out my puffs made the flavors easier to follow.
Jason E. (verified owner) –
The smoke felt fuller than the flavor initially suggested. Once the Toro warmed into the session, a quieter dark-chocolate note caught up.
Kelly G. (verified owner) –
The Toro felt balanced between my fingers, not nose-heavy. A rounded cocoa taste stayed recognizable even as the finish became earthier.
Mike V. (verified owner) –
What stood out was the shift toward wood near the end. Smoke came easily throughout; I didn’t need a strong pull to get much from it.
Robert B. (verified owner) –
A trace of pepper left the coffee easy to recognize. Between the comfortable Toro shape and an ash that stayed on longer than anticipated, the evening felt unhurried.
Daniel K. (verified owner) –
Beneath the strong coffee impression was a quieter toasted note. The cigar also kept its structure when I went past my usual stopping point.
David S. (verified owner) –
This wasn’t a pepper-first Maduro to my taste. The main impression was browned toast, with coffee becoming clearer after the first stretch.
Rebecca H. (verified owner) –
For a dedicated sit-down session, the format worked for me. Earth and dark cocoa supplied most of the flavor, while the burn needed almost no involvement.
Victoria E. (verified owner) –
The opening brought a dry, almost tannic note that softened as I slowed down. A little creaminess appeared without making the profile sweet.
Christine V. (verified owner) –
The ash released neatly instead of flaking all over the table. Flavor-wise, I got a dry roast with a little sweetness at the edges.
Stephanie L. (verified owner) –
The dark flavor wasn’t as heavy-hitting as I expected. I did have to correct a wandering burn around the halfway point, so this lands at four stars for me.
James X. (verified owner) –
Flavor came through clearly without an aggressive edge. The Toro felt comfortable for a slow evening, and its ash hung on longer than I’d guessed it would.
Anthony A. (verified owner) –
I paid more attention to the texture than the flavor changes; it stayed soft on the palate while the earthy notes deepened.
Mark I. (verified owner) –
My notes for this one were surprisingly brief: toasted grain, dark roast, restrained spice. The Toro didn’t need constant changes to hold my attention.
Lauren O. (verified owner) –
Taking my time after dinner let the earthy flavor and dry cocoa come through together. An even light at the foot was enough to get a steady burn going.
Brandon R. (verified owner) –
I’d stick with the Toro instead of moving up in size. Under the coffee was a toasted flavor, and keeping the cigar going required very little attention.
Tony G. (verified owner) –
The initial pepper softened into something less sharp. For me, this format made sense without needing a bigger version.
Samantha N. (verified owner) –
What I liked was the lack of a sudden bitter turn when the flavor grew darker. The roast intensified without covering everything else.
Angela Z. (verified owner) –
The Toro fit my normal smoking routine, with a faint sweetness returning during pauses between puffs.
Carlos J. (verified owner) –
The balance shifted toward earth as it shortened, but a thin thread of sweetness never quite disappeared. That contrast was the memorable part for me.
Danielle D. (verified owner) –
A narrow cut worked well on this Toro. The smoke had a cocoa-powder quality rather than the sugary chocolate taste I had imagined.
Patrick B. (verified owner) –
This Toro changed less dramatically than some others I’ve tried. What held my attention was a faint, almost malty note beneath the darker flavors.
Carlos M. (verified owner) –
Coffee dominated my impression, with spice arriving on the finish. The Toro left room to settle into the session without giving me more cigar than I wanted.
Eric R. (verified owner) –
I usually notice pepper first, yet here a leathery impression arrived ahead of it. The spice remained more of a background sensation.
Brian J. (verified owner) –
Taking it slowly after dinner, I found richness without the roughness I sometimes associate with darker flavors.
Julia C. (verified owner) –
I put my coffee aside halfway through to taste the cigar alone. There was still a roasted character, only with more earth behind it.
Nick D. (verified owner) –
A faint molasses-like impression came through during the pauses, not during the draw itself. Most of the Toro remained firmly in the roasted camp.
Danielle A. (verified owner) –
The leaf around the cap didn’t unravel as I went along. By the time I stopped, I was tasting mostly earth with a lingering coffee edge.
Julie K. (verified owner) –
The first inch was all roast to me. Later I noticed a little walnut skin, which gave the Toro a drier finish than I expected.
Amber J. (verified owner) –
I expected the spice to keep climbing; it actually receded while a bready roast developed. That reversal made the second half my favorite.
Nick T. (verified owner) –
The draw gave a consistent amount of smoke even as the ash shortened. For me, that steadiness mattered more than a dramatic flavor transition.
David C. (verified owner) –
I expected more of a punch from that dark profile. It was less forceful than I’d pictured. The construction also held up even farther down than I usually go.
David Y. (verified owner) –
I watched the burn more closely than usual and barely had to rotate it. The flavor stayed earthy while the aroma leaned toward cocoa.
Jennifer V. (verified owner) –
There was a brief nutty stretch near the midpoint that I wish had lasted longer. The darker coffee taste that followed was still interesting.
Jason D. (verified owner) –
Chocolate was secondary to coffee on my palate. A lightly sweet finish suited the slow pace I took with it after dinner.
Nicole R. (verified owner) –
The flavor reminded me more of coffee grounds than brewed coffee. A small toasted-nut note kept it from feeling completely one-dimensional.
Michelle F. (verified owner) –
The coffee never got buried under pepper. That balance, along with proportions that felt natural in my hand, was what I noticed most.
Alex G. (verified owner) –
It took me a few minutes to find a rhythm with the draw. After that, the cocoa note was easier to separate from the wood.
Christine A. (verified owner) –
Dry cocoa fit nicely alongside the earthiness. An uneven spot in the burn took a little correcting, which keeps my rating at four.
Rachel X. (verified owner) –
I left more time between puffs than usual and noticed how much the aroma lingered. Cedar was clearer there than in the smoke itself.
Jessica W. (verified owner) –
Once it was lit, there wasn’t much to manage. My favorite stretch was around the middle, where toasted wood and coffee met.
Greg Q. (verified owner) –
No huge sweetness here on my palate. Instead, I found a savory wood note that made the little cocoa accents easier to notice.
James R. (verified owner) –
Nothing jumped out immediately, but a toasted coffee note gradually became distinct. I preferred that measured start to a blast of pepper.
Rachel P. (verified owner) –
Woodsy and earthy at first, then gentler coffee notes took over. The dimensions matched my usual pace, and each draw produced about the same amount of smoke.
Frank U. (verified owner) –
The dark wrapper wasn’t doing all the work; the flavor had that darker character too. Resting it between draws didn’t interrupt the burn.
