Using the box pressed Hexagon (hexágono Sixto) shape the Plasencia Alma del Cielo Amanecer is a big 6″ x 60 cigar with a slow, easy pace.
The Plasencia Alma del Cielo Amanecer starts creamy. Honey and cedar come through first, along with a soft almond-like sweetness that makes the opening rich without feeling heavy.
As it burns, things begin to shift. Nougat. Earth. A little orange zest popping up here and there. Then comes the spice—a warm touch of ginger that hangs around but never takes over.
The six-sided shape gives this cigar a cool, steady burn and plenty of time to develop. Medium to medium-full in strength, but smooth all the way through. Packaged in a box of 10.

Plasencia Alma del Cielo Amanecer Gordo Description
The Plasencia Alma del Cielo Amanecer is the biggest cigar in the line, and it smokes like it.
Slow. Cool. Unhurried.
At 6″ x 60, this Gordo gives the blend plenty of room to open up. The first few draws are smooth and creamy, with cedar, honey and toasted almonds coming through right away. There is some sweetness, but not too much. Just enough to soften the edges.
Then the cigar starts to settle in.
Nougat comes forward. Earth gets a little deeper. A light orange-zest note shows up in the background and gives the profile some lift. It comes and goes. Never loud, but you notice it.
The spice arrives later.
Warm ginger. A touch of pepper. Nothing sharp. Nothing that takes over the cigar. It stays behind the cedar and sweeter tobacco, adding a little more weight as the smoke moves along.
The Amanecer is made entirely with Nicaraguan tobacco and sits around medium to medium-full in strength. There is plenty of body, especially through the second half, but it never turns into a heavy pepper bomb.
That is really the point of this cigar.
Big flavor without the rough edges. A larger ring gauge without losing the balance. The six-sided Hexágono shape also gives it a different feel in the hand and helps create a slow, steady smoking pace.
This is a good choice when you have time to sit down and let a cigar develop. No rushing it. The honey, cedar, earth and spice all need a little room to move.
