Plasencia Alma del Cielo Amanecer Gordo
Using the box pressed Hexagon (hexágono Sixto) shape the Plasencia Alma del Cielo Amanecer is a big 6″ x 60 cigar with a slow, easy pace.
The Plasencia Alma del Cielo Amanecer starts creamy. Honey and cedar come through first, along with a soft almond-like sweetness that makes the opening rich without feeling heavy.
As it burns, things begin to shift. Nougat. Earth. A little orange zest popping up here and there. Then comes the spice—a warm touch of ginger that hangs around but never takes over.
The six-sided shape gives this cigar a cool, steady burn and plenty of time to develop. Medium to medium-full in strength, but smooth all the way through. Packaged in a box of 10.

The Amanecer burned slowly and stayed cool almost the entire way. Rich tobacco, roasted nuts, and a light caramel note.

The Amanecer is rich without being too strong. A good choice when you have plenty of time to sit down and enjoy it.

Great construction. The draw was open without being loose, and the ash held on much longer than expected.

Impressive smoke production and an even burn. The flavor stayed consistent from start to finish.

The larger format lets the flavors open slowly. Nothing rushed or sharp about it.

The construction was excellent. Straight burn line, firm ash, and a comfortable draw throughout.

One of the better large-ring cigars I have smoked recently. It stayed cool and did not get soft near the end.

The draw was nearly perfect. Lots of smoke, clean finish, and no touch-ups needed.

The larger ring gauge gives the blend a rounder, softer profile. Plenty of flavor without too much pepper.

I enjoyed the mix of earth, cream, and warm spice. The sweetness came and went in a good way.

The Amanecer feels well blended. Every flavor has room to show without one taking over.

A relaxing cigar that lasted well over an hour. It stayed flavorful without becoming tiring.

This size really highlights the creamy side of the blend. Smooth, steady, and easygoing.

Excellent choice for someone who likes gordos but wants refinement instead of pure strength.
Anthony C. (verified owner) –
I expected this size to be overpowering. It was actually smooth, balanced, and easier to smoke than most 60-ring cigars.
Christopher V. (verified owner) –
Starts mild, then builds toward medium-full. The pepper becomes more noticeable in the last third.
Daniel M. (verified owner) –
It has enough strength for an experienced smoker, but it is not aggressive. Very polished cigar.
Carl F. (verified owner) –
Cream, cedar, and light cocoa were the main flavors for me. Very little bitterness.
Alex T. (verified owner) –
Big cigar, but it never felt heavy or rough. Creamy cedar up front, then a little pepper and sweetness near the middle.
Dominic C. (verified owner) –
The first third was creamy and woody. The middle added roasted coffee and a little black pepper.
Dylan D. (verified owner) –
Smooth retrohale for such a large cigar. Mostly cedar, soft spice, and toasted tobacco.
Benjamin H. (verified owner) –
A solid evening cigar. Earthy at first, then cream, cedar, and a touch of baking spice.
Colin A. (verified owner) –
A long smoke with good balance. I tasted wood, nuts, sweet tobacco, and a little espresso.
