Using the famous Plasencia box press style, the Plasencia Alma del Cielo Celeste Robusto is short, but it gets right to the point. Cedar and toasted almonds show up early, followed by a soft honey sweetness that keeps the opening smooth.

The  Plasencia Alma del Cielo Celeste Robusto starts to change. Earth comes in. A little nougat. Some citrus peel in the background. Near the end, a warm ginger spice begins to build, but it never takes over.

It is made entirely with Nicaraguan tobacco, but it does not smoke like a heavy pepper bomb. The strength sits around medium to medium-full. There is body, for sure. Just not the kind that beats up your palate.

The smaller size keeps the flavors tight and focused. You do not have to wait halfway through the cigar for it to open up. It starts showing its character early and stays interesting from there.
