The Plasencia Alma del Cielo Boreal is the Toro of the line, measuring 6.2″ x 54. It starts smooth. Honey, creamy cedar and a little almond-like sweetness come through early, giving the cigar a rich opening without making it feel heavy.

Give it some time. The profile slowly shifts toward earth, nougat and a touch of orange peel. Then the spice begins to build. Warm and slightly gingery, but controlled. It adds depth without covering up the sweeter tobacco underneath.

Medium to medium-full in strength, the Boreal is a balanced Nicaraguan cigar with enough length to let the flavors move around. Nothing rushed. Nothing overpowering. Packaged in a box of 10.

The Plasencia Alma del Cielo Boreal is the Toro in the lineup, and this size gives the blend time to settle in properly.

It opens soft. Cedar first, then a little honey and toasted almond. There is some cream in there too. Not heavy. Just enough to round things out.

After a while, the cigar starts showing more depth. The sweeter notes pull back and earth begins to come through. Nougat shows up in spots. So does a little orange peel. It keeps the profile from getting dull.

The spice takes its time.

A little ginger. Some pepper. Nothing sharp or aggressive. It builds slowly and stays behind the main flavors instead of taking over.

Made entirely with Nicaraguan tobacco, the Boreal lands around medium to medium-full in strength. It has body, no doubt, but this is not a cigar that tries to prove something with raw power.

It is steady. Balanced. Easy to stay with.

At 6.2″ x 54, the Toro size gives you a longer smoke and enough room for the cedar, sweetness, earth and spice to move around. Packaged in a box of 10.
