Padron Cigars
Padron cigars are widely recognized as some of the finest cigars on the market, and for good reason. Hand-crafted in Nicaragua, Padron cigars are made with aged Nicaraguan tobaccos and are available in both natural and maduro wrappers.
The Padron 1964 Anniversary line is a popular choice among cigar enthusiasts, with a medium to full body and a rich, complex flavor profile. Notes of chocolate, coffee, and nuts can be detected, with a hint of spice on the finish. The construction of these cigars is excellent, with a smooth, even burn and a perfect draw.
The Padron 1926 line is another highly sought-after offering from the brand, with a full body and a bold, robust flavor. The Maduro wrapper adds an extra layer of depth and richness to the flavor profile, with notes of dark chocolate, espresso, and a hint of sweetness on the finish. Like the 1964 Anniversary line, the construction of these cigars is top-notch, with a smooth, even burn and a perfect draw.
Overall, Padron cigars are a top choice for those who appreciate a high-quality, full-bodied smoke. Whether you prefer the natural wrapper or the Maduro wrapper, there is a Padron cigar that is sure to satisfy your cravings. If you are looking for a special occasion cigar or simply want to treat yourself to something special, a Padron cigar is a excellent choice.
Take a look how beautiful these Padrón cigars are
Today In the cigar business there is only a handful of families that control every aspect of the operation which is what you want as a cigar consumer. From seed to shelf, it’s similar to wine process. Some tobacco families today started farming tobacco back in the early 1900’s. Most started in Cuba then fled to neighboring countries after the Castro regime took over.
Padrón Cigars was founded September 8, 1964 in Miami, Florida by Cuban-native José Orlando Padrón. In 1970, Padrón moved the company to Estelí, Nicaragua. At the time cigar consumers in the United Sates and especially down in Miami never smoked cigars from Nicaragua before, it was a new cigar concept, a niche. It was high risk for José Orlando Padrón at the time but the risk paid off. People fell in love with José Orlando Padrón cigars instantly.
Fast forward to today and the Padrón portfolio just gets better every year. Still a family run operation, still all hands on deck with cigar making business, still top dog after all these years. I added the top selling Padrón cigars with Cigar Aficionado ratings to each one to give you a better understanding on how these rate.
Top Rated Padrón Cigars with Cigar Aficionado and Cigar Inspector Ratings.
- Anything above a 89 is considered outstanding. Very few cigars get rated above 92 every year or when ratings are issued.
- Note: We only put the top selling cigar sizes in here.
